Terra, you're too innocent for your own good. xD
Now don't get me wrong. I think it's wonderful that Terra tends to give people the benifit of the doubt. But sometimes, it's just like "...whut srsly, Terra? That guy has villian written all over him."

(I forgot to draw Aqua's sleeve things. :iconterrafacepalmplz: I'm too lazy to fix it now..)

Well, what do you expect from someone who was trained by the guy who trusted Xehanort after the man tried to kill him?  Though, to be fair, Terra never really trusted any of these guys.  He went along with Maleficent because he was more concerned about finding answers and Maleficent was pretty much the first person he met in a new world, and he didn't seem too surprised when she turned out to be evil.  He barely even seemed to be paying attention to what Hades was telling him, and his tone when Hades revealed his intentions indicated that he suspected he was evil, anyway.  With Hook, he didn't have any real reason to not take him at his word and help him out when he was being attacked by the Unversed, and when he realized that Hook was lying about the "light", it didn't take much convincing for him to realize he had been played.

Naïve?  Somewhat.  Gullible?  Kinda.  A moron?  No, not really.  He never really had a reason to distrust them, especially with his own issues of self-doubt.
